There's a 3rd feature which is just like the set up with a work station, but in this area there is storage rather than a desk. Having a separate desk may look like more practical at first look . This is an adult way of looking at the setup. Talk about this feature with your children and you'll probably find that they're not so keen on it. By having drawers and storage space below the top bunk it makes the area underneath less fun. If you wish to maximise your storage area then you probably be better of with a mid height bed with storage, rather than a bunk bed with futon?
Which ever bunk bed with futon design you choose it is critical to discuss it with your children and to make certain that they are happy. It is also a good idea to invest in some new bedding and accessories to make it that bit more special and personal.
